Hanging with Nana and Grandpa

We made a little getaway to my parent's house this past weekend. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend playing outside, eating yummy food, and celebrating Father's Day--a few weeks late (thanks to a flu bug). We all had a fun time, but I think Micah had the most fun!

Micah learned the concept of a pull toy! Nana had a special train, which Micah enjoyed running through the house with. Oh, and let's not forget the gigantic hammer!

Micah is all boy, so he was content for about a half an hour to sitt in the driveway and play with rocks.

Ole entertained Micah as he jumped for his ball. Micah got excited about all of the bocce balls, but he soon found out that they were too heavy for him.

But that didn't stop Micah from being curious about the guy's bocce game!

Nana also brought out this awesome bubble wand, which made bubbles bigger than the size of my head! Micah tried his hand at the bubble wand, but he really just wanted to use it as a stick instead.

Grandpa and Micah had a lot of bonding time this weekend. Micah got a kick out of the fact that Grandpa wears a hat outstide too! So, he and Grandpa took turns putting on each other's hats.

Micah wanted to show off his "big boy" skills, so he persuaded Grandpa to give him lots of drinks from my water bottle.

Playing outside is exhausting, but luckily, Nana's lap is always waiting!

Nana and Grandpa surprised Micah with a chair and table set just for him! He was thrilled!

"Nana's and Grandpa's house is so much FUN!"

We think so too! Thanks for a mini-break, Mom and Dad!
