There was a birthday party for my aunt.

There was prepping for lake fun. In addition to swim suits and life vests, this adventure included slathering up in both sunscreen and mosquito repellant.

There was swimming--but not too much. The lake weeds and crayfish limited the swimming area to deeper water, but Micah at least go his feet wet.

There was intertubing. Micah was a trooper and helped out being the spotter in the boat, although he fell asleep on the job.

There was water skiing, but Adam was the only brave soul to go this year.

There was jet skiing. Adam managed to roll the "sturdy" jet ski, thus earning him the nickname "Flip."

There was fishing. My uncle proudly shows off one of his many catches of the trip.

There was cooking, and then enjoying the cooking.

There was kayaking and canoeing down a lazy river. Oh, and there were water fights down said river as well.

There was a tractor on my uncle's farm.

As well as cows. My uncle has three: Frankenstein, T-bone, and Curly.

There was practicing the family "clem" gene.

There was four-wheeling. Micah made it to the end of the driveway and back two times before he had had enough.

There were a few "Oh @*%#s."

There was a mudhole...or two...while four wheeling.

Thankfully, there was a good ol' fashioned farm shower--a hose.

And there was family.

We really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks to everyone for making it a fantastic trip!
