35 week ultrasound

This week, I had only two appointments: an ultrasound and a non-stress test (NST). From the ultrasound appointment, we learned that Baby Girl Wilson's estimated weight is 6 pounds, 3 ounces, putting her in the 55th percentile. We also found out that her bladder is slightly off-centered, which is probably due to her single vessel cord. The doctors didn't seem concerned about this issue right now, but it's on the "watch" list. We also got a pretty cool 3-D picture of her this week. It's a right profile of her face, and her left hand is just below her chin.

During the NST, she decided to take a nap--even though she was very active as I was waiting for the test to begin. This is the only test where it's essential for her to be up and active, so we had to wake her up. After drinking some juice and lying on my side, she showed me and the midwives how happy she was to be woken up with lots and lots of kicks. Thanks, Baby Girl for cooperating in your own way.

Gorgeous ultrasound. She looks happy and snuggly, for sure.
