28 weeks

Last week marked my 28th week of pregnancy, so off to the midwives I went. Here's the latest belly picture. (Sorry we moved our calendar, so you'll just have to trust me on the date.)

Here are my latest stats:

• Total weight gain: 14 pounds
• Baby's heart rate: 156 beats per minute

During this visit, I had a doctor look at a suspicious little lump in my hand. Turns out, it was a blood clot. Thankfully, the doctor didn't think that this particular clot would travel into my heart, given its "weird location"--her words, not mine. All I can say is, this pregnancy is definitely different than my last.
