Swim lessons

We've been thinking about swim lessons for a while, and we finally signed him up! Micah and Logan braved the water together--with the help of their parents.

This was Micah's first time in a real swimming pool, so we weren't sure how it would go. He hung on to Adam at first, but he warmed up to it pretty well.

Here's my favorite picture of Anna and Logan.

Class started out with a song and a watering can. "This is how we wash our arms, wash our arms, wash our arms." Micah liked the watering can.

Next, everyone got to blow bubbles in the water. Micah remembered how to blow outward, and not suck water in, so he liked this exercise too.

Then came Micah's first underwater experience. Umm, yeah, not so much of a fan.

Luckily, throwing a pool toy and "swimming" after it came next. Micah's all about throwing, so he loved this exercise.

Look at that proud Dad!

When throwing time was over, Micah didn't want it to end, so he just kept signing "more."

Unfortunately for him, there was more exercises, such as floating on his back. Umm, yeah, the picture says it all.

Micah seemed to like the next exercise the best: sit on the wall, "fall" into Adam's arms, and then "swim" back to the wall. Yeah, he got to show off his manly muscles.

I think we're all excited to see what our next class has to offer!
